Keith Allen and John Thomson are among the stars ITV has lined up for a new drama series titled 'Mobile'.
Allen and Thomson will star in Mobile, billed as a multi-layered conspiracy thriller set in the telecoms industry against the backdrop of the Iraq war.
The drama centres around an ex telecommunications engineer who attributes his onset of terminal cancer to his high use of mobile phones and his working with their associated masts.
Taking his hatred of the technology to the extreme, the ex telecomms engineer sets about blowing up mobile phone masts, something which some viewers may agree would be the best solution to end the controversy surrounding any potential ill health effects once and for all.
