Hiya everybody...
I hope you've all had a great few days and are looking forward to New Year's Eve.
Sorry to put a downer on things, but this hasn't been my best Christmas...not been my worst either, but...anyway, Christmas Eve I realised that my Digital Camera was not around...I probably haven't seen it for over a fortnight now, but haven't really been taking much notice of it as it needed its battery recharging, and I just kept saying "I'll do it tomorrow"...then forgetting. So, no great holiday snaps...plus me and the kids have arranged to go to London again for a couple of days after the New Year, so no chance of taking great snaps there either....I have paperwork I need to sort out for Becki's DLA, which should have been completed months ago, so I've probably messed that one up, and I haven't completed my council tax/housing benefit form which should have been returned by xmas eve! never mind...at least I have my life, unlike those poor souls in South East Asia...don't know what I'm moaning about really when I get it into perspective...
So, I'm sorry...perhaps this should have gone into the 'guests gripes' section of the board...
I was gonna invite some people round for a party, but I really don't feel in the mood anymore...have been staying in bed most of the day, am only up now cos I've been searching for my camera for an hour or so...
Will have my kids at home again New Year's Eve, and a couple of friends are coming round...if anyone is lonely and wants to join us, you're more than welcome...bring a bottle and some grub if you want to turn it into a party, and let some others know about it if you want...maybe it will cheer me up, just don't feel like ringing anyone and organising it to be honest....
Bye folks...Happy New Year

Hey up, ;D I'm back - apologies for absence. Will reply to your email after this also!! Christ - mas f u c k i n stinks. Fortunately I know quite a few people who also hate this time of year, plus my mum who lives in Spain also hates it - so I've had plenty of people to have a rant about just how much I hate it all. I make a point of doing the anti-xmas thing - anyone who says happy xmas and a happy new year I generally tell them to stick it up their arse!! Also, I've spent much too much time with me man friend - not a good thing to spend too much time together. I mean christ he spent the whole day yesterday on my computer playing 'Rome Total War' - a stange computer game where you spend most of the time exterminating people. Sod that, I spent the day getting ready to do a bit of decorating and found some outrageous colours to generally make my pad look ridiculous!! He can go stick it up his arse for a time as well - titter!! We can get cracking next week sweets with your computer room if you like as I have all the rollers, brushes and probably some disgusting coloured paint left over if you fancy a few evenings next week doing yours!! 10 lonks?? Also, there's a meeting tomoz night on Vaughn Street, Nelson about that phone mast organised by Cloverhill Residents Association. Should be a good one - start's 7.30pm at St Johns - fancy coming?? Apparently they've 300 names on their petition - and the meeting should be pretty packed. I've been meaning to join that Residents Association for a while now anyway - so this will be a good opportunity to get to know everyone. I say boycott bloody council tax anyway - what the hell are they spending it on round here - errecting another vile concrete block in Nelson Town Centre, and paying to knock a load of perfectly good houses down around Napier Street. Lord Greaves and the rest of those prat liberal councillors can go stick it up their arse - crappy new year to them I say. You in tomoz - hows about grub at Kaf's Kaf for more exciting moans about bollocks xmas - titter. I'll probs be covered in paint! Chin up, anyone who gets the blues this time of year is awake I say. In empathy and solidarity sister. Mitch xx

Hiya Mitch, thanks for replying..you always bring a smile to my face... Believe it or not, I'm supposed to be getting a visit from that 'friend' of mine tomorrow...u know, the pc freak! lol..but don't know what time to expect him (as usual)..so makes it awkward to arrange a meal at the kaff or tomorrow nite's meeting, although I will certainly come to the meeting if I find out in time that he isn't gonna arrive afterall...I know! I shouldn't wait in for him, but he has promised to install some pc progs for me I spent a little less time in bed today than yesterday, been reading message boards on the net. most of the time and getting in there with replies...keeping myself busy I suppose...still haven't been able to get myself to clear up the washing up tho! stupid me...it's such a small task... Anyway, thanks for the offer of helping to decorate this place, that would be superb!! Me and the kids will be away Tuesday and Wednesday, but everything back to normal after that Chat with you soon...

LOL Mitch...I didn't actually go to the meeting in the end...Edna kindly collected the projector et al, from me Thursday pm, and I went to the docs with Becki, and didn't get home till nearly 7pm...was shattered!!! I did leave them all the leads etc. Andy Makim dropped off the projector last night, and didn't say anything about it being a silent movie, but he did say Dan from Chumbawumba knew how to fix all the technical stuff!!! LOL...very High Tech isn't it!!! teehee, so presume all was sorted in the end. He's left me a tenner, which he said they'd agreed to pay you each time they used the projector, to put towards your initial purchase of it, so I've got that here for you when you want it!! Sorry to hear about your hangover!!! was it 'murder' on the dance floor then, with you throwing yerself around everywhere..titter!!! Pleased to hear you had a good time, anyway...see ya soon, Luv Michele xx
