Hi all...
Just thought I would take a minute to say a big MERRY CHRISTMAS to everybody...
I hope that everyone is coping at this emotionally draining time of year...spend, spend, spend seems to be the expected order of the day...but don't feel guilty or intimidated by the ads. encouraging you to spend beyond your means.
Just spend whatever you can afford to and relax, try to find some good company and have a helluva good time...

Bloody Christmas - bar humbug!! Titter. I must admit to having a weak spot for the 'shiny balls!' and I rather like the lights, being rather partial to a bit of kitsch!
But the 'shop til you drop' scenario, the spend spend spend, the pressure and stress of it all always depresses me. People seem to look rather miserable rushing around town armed with shopping bags.
Morrissey was on the radio yesterday and said 'Everyone who hates Christmas is intelligent'. ;D
I'll be doing my usual, and 'bunkering in' over xmas. grrrr bar humbug.

Yes! Well spotted. Double standards or what? It seems a sword is all right on some occasions when held by certain people! See you all in the New Year.

You stupid boy Pike ;D As you well know anarchists refrain from dominance in both personal relationships and beyond. Mind you, I love a bit of banter and a good 'domestic'!

Crappy Christmas
Crappy Valentines
Crappy Easter
Crappy Mothers Day
Crappy Fathers Day
Crappy any other day that involves getting us to spend money on useless pieces of c r a p
I suppose we could make this thread MAY DAY - that would give us something to talk about, and another opportunity for me to moan about nearly being run over last year by some bloody Amicas t w a t in a Mercedes.
Can we make this thread May Day, Michele?? What do you think? Be good to talk about the origins of May Day and any events around it.
Best, & crappy Christalmightymas for 2005 - groan.
