Hey up, it's official - Bernard Matthews Chicken McNugget has died a death.
Over two and a half million people have signed Mr Oliver's petition, and he's off to Blair to hand it in in a couple of weeks.
He appears to be getting organised - Big love to dinner ladies section/mission (and 2 dinner men on the web forum currently) talks about training but no mention on pay. Urr Big Love seems to be his catchphrase.
Well, he's certainly getting somewhere - you can't argue with that. Just wondered what people thought about Mr Oliver's style, this Feed Me Better campaign, or any other thoughts on the tv series.
I've got my issues with it, as stated to Cotty, but can't deny the results he's getting. There does seem more of a hard hit to this campaign than say all the charity 'Princess Diana' approach, aka Red Noses and Pudsey Bears lacks.
Have Wrespect asked Oliver to run for them yet - eek watch out.
There's a thread on Oliver's school dinners on enrager - some interesting comments

"Watching that program he's doing something I have alot of respect for, regardless of what a tw a t he is the rest of the time. How long it'll last is debatable once he has finished the project, but up to a point he has opened a hell of alot of people's eyes on the subject of nutrition in inner city schools, and he has, as a sideswipe, given us a hell of alot of ammunition about private companies taking over these things, in that the production costs of 37p per child, compared to the amount they were paying for it of 100p, in inner city estate schools, is about as stark a contrast as you can get."
or Jack:
"The best bit was when he realises the dinner ladies are being f**ked over, and he lays the groundwork for the sequel, Jamie's Class Struggle."

Where is it going next?
