Unfortunately it clashes with the National Conference of the TUCs (Trade Union Councils) in Liverpool. At this Conf. there is a motion on Blacklisting & the Manchester electricians & on asbestos; on Gangmasters; the government's attack on Civil Liberties; Venezula; the Minimum Wage & Working Hours, but I can't see mention of G8 on the Agenda.
'MAKE POVERTY HISTORY' was raised at the Greater Manchester Association of TUCs yesterday in the connection of G8. So G8 may get raised at the Liverpool Conf. under some other item.
