Hey up chums,
Currently Burnley Borough Council is advertising for henchmen and women to push through their Elevate/Salivate Housing plans which involve considerable demolishment of houses, some of which people have lived in for upto 40 years and don't want to move out of - the Piccadily Road residents in Burnley will know what I mean.
The salaries are very high for these posts, you'll note below! And the advertisement is full of buzz words and waffle which hides a hidden a general agenda on housing to railroad residents into plans already made and decided upon in this region.
What does all this waffle mean, can someone translate??
(could be an idea to have a housing thread on the main page of the Burnley Voice - what do others think??)

This work aims to improve the health, educational attainment and wider prospects of local people, and to build social and community cohesion.

An excellent relationship-builder both at “front line” and senior levels, with a proven track record in organising and delivering projects based on regeneration and community development, you will have a good understanding of local government processes.
Above all, this job is about being able to manage all stakeholder expectations, balance conflicting priorities and focus on delivering real service improvements to communities in our most deprived neighbourhoods. It’s a great challenge and critical to improving our communities.
