I HEAR VOICES!
"Don't walk in front of me
I may not follow.
Don't walk behind me
I may not lead.
Walk beside me - and just be my friend" (Albert Camus) - Burnley & Pendle Voice Motto
BURNLEY & PENDLE VOICE

Hi All,
Michele's off-line temporarily at the mo, so here's an update on progress with the Burnley & Pendle Voice Newletter.
Michele & me have been working on the layout of the newletter over the last couple of weeks - taking our influence from the original popular Burnley Voice Magazine of the 1970s.
We'll run off copies ready for this week's Burnley & Pendle Voice Newsletter meeting_
7.30pm/Fred's house - Thursday, 10th August (I'll send out a few emails later today).
All the articles submitted have been included, plus one from Michele on Little Marsden Community Action Group and one from me on Homeworking.
Further articles to come hopefully will be one from Avril on Towneley Campaign, an update on challenges currently underway to maladministration and utter incompetence in Burnley Planning.
In the spirit of the old Burnley Voice there's plenty of humour in here too.
On the agenda so far (anyone got any other things they want on pm us or bob them up here) include:
Regular Burnley & Pendle Voice Newletter Meetings (as Eileen suggested previously as they used to have with the old voice.) Location - possibly Burnley Methodists.
Distribution
Cost - very small, and if any - just to cover production costs.
Ethos and approach - adoption of old Burnley Voice Motto, a magazine for the people, why it's being set up etc.
How regularly to be produced. Bimonthly or Quarterly.
Jobs - contact address - to be agreed.
------------------
The working document newletter is currently upto 6 pages - layout and articles to be agreed at the meeting.
I have a number of copies of the old Burnley Voice magazines which I'll be bringing.
We'll hopefully be moving meetings into a location like Burnly Methodists soon, so should be easier for anyone who wants to come along - to dos so.
Cheery Cheers Mitch
PS. has anyone seen Roger Frost's perm?
