I would like to offer my condolences to Mitch on the loss of her lovely pet cat...Old Bird.
I believe Mitch rescued Old Bird from the boroughs of Manchester many years ago and has cared for her and 3 other moggies ever since...good work Mitch.
I saw Old Bird recently and she was lovely...a very gentle character...it is always sad to lose an old friend, furry or otherwise, and she will be greatly missed, but remembered always...
R.I.P Old Bird...

Old Bird was rather a regal character, and would often extend her paw, not to stretch it, but rather to be kissed by the minions! Children would often ask when visiting - 'why have you got a cat called bird?'. Join me if ya like in a five minute silence on Friday, 15th October at 11am. She was with me for 14 years.

Hey up, Be reet, makin' it just the one minute, can't see her indoors (Mitch) shuttin up for the full five! Titter PS. I thought some of you woodentops would challenge the fact that I'm requesting 5 minutes silence for a cat, beloved pet though she may be!, that's three minutes more than the silences for the Queen Mother & Diana put together.
