The Animal Rescue Site is having trouble getting enough people to click on their site daily to meet their quota to get free food donated by corporations for abused and neglected animals. It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "feed an animal in need" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. Here's the web site... Pass it along to people you know. www.theanimalrescuesite.com/

hi michele. although i think the click to feed the animals is a great idea...i think perhaps we should be looking a bit closer to home to help animal sanctuary's. There r plenty on our doorstep so to speak and i will find some email addresses and post them to the site...i know a lot of the sanctuary's have open days with stalls etc...so people can buy things and see for themselves where the money is going and at the same time have a look round. I will carry on clicking all the same! its a great idea and hopefully somebody in our country will adopt the idea!

I've clicked too. I've been noticing a lot more stray cats around our area recently, and even seen some off the motorway.
I'd be interested in local sancturaries Jules, to give support if you've got any contacts. All my three cats are rescue cats, two were found in a garage and I got those from a great woman who had literally turned her own house into an animal rescue sanctuary. I still send her a fiver every xmas.

Great idea Jules...if you know the contacts, then show us the way in which we can help!
Still keep up the clicking everyone...each little kitty saved is a blessing!
