No One Is Illegal meets twice yearly to discuss our political activities. The meetings are open to all those who agree in principle with our No Borders manifesto (available from our website HYPERLINK "http://www.noii.org.uk" www.noii.org.uk ). We encourage members of No Border groups to come - along with anyone else who want to work with us. We are the only national grouping with the distinct political perspective of opposition to all controls. We are hoping at this meeting to concentrate on two central issues. The first is the proposed amnesties that are being proposed from different quarters. What should our position be to these? Second is the national trade union conference being organised by No One Is Illegal in Liverpool on March 24th 2007. This is based on our pamphlet Workers Control Not immigration Controls - which can also be found on our website. We are presently seeking sponsorship of the conference from trade union bodies. In addition to these issues then of course the meeting is there for people to raise other matters. Full disability access. Please arrive so we can start on time ! DIRECTIONS. The Refugee and Migrants' Forum would like to hear about your experiences and views of the Immigration Service at Dallas Court Reporting Centre. We will collect your experiences of some of the below issues through two discussion groups:
* Reporting procedures and problems
* Conduct of reporting centre staff and Immigration Officers
* Facilities at the reporting centre
* Processes for detaining people at the centre or from their homes
* Processes for removing people
* How can people's experiences of the Immigration Service be improved?
The information we collect will be put into a report that we will submit to the Immigration Service, the Independent Asylum Commission and other interested groups. The Immigration Service have agreed to meet with us and listen to our concerns.

UnLtd Funding - presentation and a funding surgery

Are you a refugee ? Do you have an idea that will change your community ?
UnLtd's Refugee Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs - has been set up with the Home Office and the European Refugee Fund to encourage refugees in England to set up projects that will make their communities a healthier, happier, safer and more just place.
UnLtd will be giving awards of between £500 and £5,000 to help individuals and small groups of refugees from anywhere in England turn their ideas into reality. UnLtd will provide dedicated support including; training opportunities, tools and resources to help refugees develop their skills and initiatives. The scheme will fund and support more than 75 refugees over two years and will benefit over 2,000 people in the community. Remember applicants must be individuals or UNconstituted groups. SOLA ARTS has invited Alex Sobel of the Unltd fund, who will be holding a presentation and a funding surgery for refugees or for those people with status.

Manchester Refugee Support Group Launch of QASRO

QASRO is a tool to improve all aspects of running a refugee organisation for refugee groups and those that support them. QASRO has been developed by and for refugee organisations to help strengthen their services and management. Share your views and experiences of the Immigration Service in Greater Manchester

The Refugee and Migrants' Forum would like to hear about your experiences and views of the Immigration Service at Dallas Court Reporting Centre. We will collect your experiences of some of the below issues through two discussion groups:
* Reporting procedures and problems
* Conduct of reporting centre staff and Immigration Officers
* Facilities at the reporting centre
* Processes for detaining people at the centre or from their homes
* Processes for removing people
* How can people's experiences of the Immigration Service be improved?
The information we collect will be put into a report that we will submit to the Immigration Service, the Independent Asylum Commission and other interested groups. The Immigration Service have agreed to meet with us and listen to our concerns.

Reflections: Refugee Performance and In Place of War Seminar

Why make theatre in a place of war, or in response to war ? Is theatre always possible ? Reflections is a public seminar on theatre and performance with and by the refugee community in the UK and internationally. The seminar will include presentations by specially invited performance practitioners from places of conflict (including Kosovo, Burundi and N Ireland) and theatre practitioners who have contributed to the Exodus Onstage theatre season. UnLtd Funding - presentation and a funding surgery

Are you a refugee ? Do you have an idea that will change your community ?
UnLtd's Refugee Initiative for Social Entrepreneurs - has been set up with the Home Office and the European Refugee Fund to encourage refugees in England to set up projects that will make their communities a healthier, happier, safer and more just place.
UnLtd will be giving awards of between £500 and £5,000 to help individuals and small groups of refugees from anywhere in England turn their ideas into reality. UnLtd will provide dedicated support including; training opportunities, tools and resources to help refugees develop their skills and initiatives. The scheme will fund and support more than 75 refugees over two years and will benefit over 2,000 people in the community. Remember applicants must be individuals or UNconstituted groups. SOLA ARTS has invited Alex Sobel of the Unltd fund, who will be holding a presentation and a funding surgery for refugees or for those people with status.

Tees Valley Voices for Justice (TVVFJ) monthly meeting

TVVFJ meet each month to discuss asylum issues and provide a voice for the vulnerable by liaising with agencies, the public and supporting local campaigns. Meetings are open to anyone from the asylum-seeking community and their friends and supporters.
