The B.A. meeting will be going ahead as usual at 7.30-8pm, Burnley League.
Not sure what's on the agenda yet, apart from further details re: Burnley Defy Id Cards Meeting.
Michele to suggest possibly making links with local 'organic' farmers/stockists for fruit, veg, other produce, such as chickens/meat for those who eat it...after watching the disgusting treatment of chickens while being produced for supermarkets, in the recent Dispatches programme. Could tie this in with Lets, possibly inviting these people to join Lets/share their goods with us?
Any other ideas, please list them here.

A little late this report, as I mislaid my notes for a while then my PC crashed! Hopefully I will remember most of what was discussed that evening.
There was a short agenda, 4 items.
The first item dealt with was the Defy-Id Cards Meeting, which has been planned for 29th September at Central Methodist Church, Hargreaves St. Burnley, from 7-9pm, with speakers. Flyers and posters are to be prepared in advance of the meeting, and press releases.
Second on the agenda was the Spanish Civil War commemoration events. These are taking place in many areas and Burnley and Pendle wish to make their contribution too. We are currently gathering information and 'memorabilia' and are hoping to have accounts of the war from those who's family members were involved. An archive day, with speakers, is planned for next July.
Third on the agenda was the issue of Organic Farming/Food production, and how we are to make better contacts with those genuine food producers in that market. An effort will be made to make use of the various legitimate farmers/shops offering these goods. Efforts will also be made to aid the pursuits of The Friends of the Earth.
Fourth on the agenda was the planned 'Stop the Parade' march by the NF in Manchester that weekend. As it was such short notice it was left to members to decide whether or not they were able to support the UAF and other bodies against the NF and far right Christian Evangelist groups involved.
