We were chatting about overcoming Mental Health Problems, and he recommended 'mindfulness' as a way of coping...the above site says more about the man and his work...very interesting...

I really love his 14 precepts. It's funny that I just came across this guy today at a book store. He wrote a forward for one of Thomas Merton's books. I kept thinking to myself, why is a Buddhist Monk writing a forward for a Catholic Monk's book? Aparently they were friends once upon a time. Go figure. That's the kind of thing this world sorely needs right now.
