Hi folks. Long time no post from me. We - that's the Anarchist Federation - have got hold of a copy of the BBC Scotland film, An Anarchist's Story. It is an incredibly sympathetic account of Ethel Macdonald's time in Spain in 1936 when she went to report on the civil war and ended up broadcasting round the world for the CNT on short wave radio.
So, we're doing a film night next Tuesday, 10th July at the Hare and Hounds, in Shudehill, Manchester - it's a 5 minute walk from Victoria Station and right by ShudeHill tram stop.
It'd be great to see lots of folk there.

Hi Knightrose! Great to see you posting on the site again.
I'm so sorry that I missed this post in time to watch the film at the Hare and Hounds!!
I really need to start checking this site more often again, and start posting more often myself..
Thanks very much for letting us know about that film...would you be interested in having a viewing here in the Pendle area at some point, if we could help you?
