Hi again, just to let you all know that I've started to 'build' a free website, courtesy of www.wanadoo.co.uk for the Little Marsden C.A.G. it can be accessed at littlemarsden.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.ukPlease let me know if you have any problems accessing it, and please let me know of any ideas for content!! I will try to put a decent picture on the homepage. I'm not sure if the site is 'live' yet, as it's still under construction.

We held a very successful meeting last night, at 120 Railway St. Nelson, premises of the Nelson Neighbourhood Management Team, at which we met and 'grilled' Community Development Worker Bushra Yaqoob. Lots of items were discussed and Bushra gave us tons of useful information, links and advice. She will be keeping in touch with us so that we can gain contacts via other local groups whilst working with them on joint projects. A few of us visited our 'local' The Trafalgar Pub, on Brunswick St, following the meeting, where we chatted to the bar staff about our group and our Jumble Sale. They've placed flyers in their windows and on the noticeboard for us, offered us tons of jumble and have allowed us to use their car park for a Car Boot Sale, the proceeds of which will go to the group (well the cost of people bringing their cars to it! ;D) We're also gonna explore the idea of them allowing us to hold our quiz nights and other events there, and charge people a small admission fee in order to raise further funds... Should be good!
