Oops the old chestnut of anarchists don't believe in organisation. We believe in collective change, but not determined from above and organise in a different way. Society is organised in an authoritarian, hierarchical way, so are Trotskyist groups.
I wonder how anarchists have managed to organise trade union federations if they don't like organisation?

Sircliff, issuing statements on behalf of the class really doesnt move us any further towards freedom, instead it ushers in centralised control where power is removed directly from people.
Instead it would be wiser to organise within the class to encourage autonomy and resistance in all the areas which impact on our lives.
On a side note Im currently reading a history of the Spanish Civil War, and you will note that the resistance to fascism in Spain was huge in contrast to that in Germany, and why is this? Simple because in Germany the Communist Party and Socialist Party domminanted, and orthdox Marxism obsesses itself with using the current existing bourgeois apparatus, instead of empowering and giving our class confidence to fight back - independently. Thus the Spanish working class was in a position to resist fascism while in Germany the working class keeled over without a fight.

Dear Sircliff,
Just how would a Troskyist society be run.? Years ago one of the SWP., General Staff said at a meting in Burnley that it would be run on a mixture of working clas reps who were elected (presumably to Parliament) a group of reps appointed by the Trade Unions and another band of heroes with socialist credentials. All on the basis of 33-1/3rd per cent.
To me that says that as usual the working class is being sold out. We are going to be governed by a new set of masters! Trotskyist/swp/respect.........
In an anarchist society people will manage their own lives through the principle of workers councils and Community Councils all run on a federated, horizontal basis.
